Word of the day.

I'm going to do a 'word of the day' from now on. I will give you a word that I personally did not know the exact meaning of (despite using it before, probably), and provide its official definition... if it pleases anyone, you can post a comment using the provided word in a sentence.

Today's word is Bourgeois.

bourgeois - adj.
of or characteristic of the middle class, typically with reference to its perceived materialistic values or conventional attitudes : a rich, bored, bourgeois family

• (in Marxist contexts) upholding the interests of capitalism; not communist

noun ( pl. same) a bourgeois person : a self-confessed and proud bourgeois.

ORIGIN mid 16th cent.: from French bourg . Compare with burgess

Where I heard it: On every episode of Fraiser ever.
